Karol Nasiłowski
Double bass
He runs the double bass class at the Art Academy in Szczecin
and is a soloist of the Philharmonic Mieczysław Karłowicz in Szczecin. Winner of many national and international competitions. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Minister of Science and Higher Education and many others. A graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
He performs both as a soloist
as well as chamber musician. He took part in festivals such as BBC Proms (London), Ultimo (Oslo), Fjord Cadenza (Norway), Chopin Festival (New York). He conducts courses for double bass players, both solo and orchestral (International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra). He collaborates with orchestras: Filharmonia im. M. Karłowicz in Szczecin, Opera at the Castle in Szczecin, Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, Polish Radio Orchestra, Concerto Avenna, Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra in Warsaw, Prussian Chamber Orchestra, Danish National Chamber Orchestra, Danish National Symphony Orchestra.
