Do you want to develop your skills with the help of a completely new artistic concept, with the participation of outstanding artist-educators in a unique place?

We have a music course for you, where you will not only take part in individual classes, chamber groups, or a chamber orchestra, but above all you will have a chance to prepare and perform concerts with the most outstanding master-teachers from the most important Art Universities of Europe. Taking part in our course you will be able to work with several pedagogues.

We guarantee to spend your time creatively, including dance classes, lectures, or movement classes, prepared to warm up!

We have a recipe for how to play well, control stress, strengthen the body and take a good strategy for career development!

Szczecin Classic Academy is a project aimed at pupils, students and graduates of art schools and colleges, including instrumentalists (string instrument group) and for existing chamber ensembles (free composition). Qualification for the course is determined by the order of applications.

A limited number of individual spots by instrument have been prepared:

  • Violin -20 participants
  • Viola – 10 participants
  • Cello – 10 participants
  • As well as chamber ensembles
Where

Classes included in the course program will be held in the buildings of Technopark Pomerania at Cyfrowa 4 Street in Szczecin.  Additional classes, as well as concerts will be held in the city space and concert halls in Szczecin.

Course fee - individual participant

The course fee for an individual participant is 1800 PLN. The fee includes participation in:

  • – 2 individual lessons,
  • – min. 2 lessons in chamber groups,
  • – min. 3 lessons in a chamber orchestra,
  • – performance of min. 2 concerts with pedagogues,
  • – participation in additional activities: thematic lectures, concerts, Stradivarius violin demonstration,
  • – accommodation.

The prepayment for each participant of the course is 500 PLN. The prepayment should be made on the day the application is sent. The remaining amount for the course must be paid by March 31, 2024.

In the case of payment of a deposit in the amount of PLN 500, the transfer should be made with the note “deposit for the course” + name + instrument. The deposit is payable at most on the day the application form is sent. Confirmation of payment should be attached to the form.

If the remaining amount is paid, the transfer should be made with the note “course fee” + name + instrument. The amount must be paid by March 31, 2024.

Course fee - chamber ensemble

The fee for the course for chamber ensembles is 4200 PLN. The fee includes participation in:

  • 4 ensemble lessons of 1.5h each with different pedagogues,
  • performance of a piece/s (up to 25min) at a selected festival concert,
  • participation of the ensemble in the chamber orchestra project,
  • participation of the ensemble in additional activities: thematic lectures, concerts, Stradivarius violin demonstration,
  • accommodation

The prepayment for the chamber ensemble of the course is PLN 500. The prepayment should be made on the day the application is sent. The remaining amount for the course must be paid by March 31, 2024.

Accommodation

Participants will be accommodated at the Pasat Hotel, 9 Starzyńskiego Street in Szczecin in double rooms from 27.04-04.05.2024.

Applications

You should apply for the course through the Application Form. The payment (deposit) should be made on the day of submission of the application (using the Application Form, a confirmation of the bank fee should be submitted). By 14/04/2024, all applicants/teams will receive an email confirmation of qualification for the course. If you do not qualify for the course, the deposit will be returned to your account. If you qualify for the course and do not pay the course fees in full by the deadline, the course deposit will not be refunded. In the event that a participant/team wishes to cancel the course after qualifying and paying the deposit, the deposit will be refunded only if a formal termination notice is submitted by email, in which the reason for cancellation is a fortuitous situation. The termination notice must be accepted by the Organizer. The total payment for the course must be made no later than March 31, 2024.
